Did someone say “Let it snow….” ?

This was our front garden area on the last day of fall, 2007.
Kip, our “puppy” (who looks for all the world like a full grown collie dog to me!) is loving snow!
All day long, while I am trying to work at home, he is bugging me to let him out to play in the mounds of snow.
We’ve had about 20 inches of snow so far, and it isn’t even winter here yet!
I have a feeling this is going to be ONE LONG WINTER here in New England.
Here’s looking at ya!

I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. You can keep the snow, ours melted but we will have more I am sure. My little Cici loves the snow too.

It’s beautiful! From California, it looks just wonderful. I’m staying here, though. Merry Christmas!

20 inches of snow! I absolutely can’t imagine it. That’s almost up to my….well….
We had the a/c on yesterday and the thermometer outside registered in the 80s. Today it’s about 50 but sunny. It almost never snows here, of course. In fact I can’t remember the last time. It’s ok with me, Ihave very thin Texas blood.
Your photo is lovely, viewed from here, that is.
Love and Merry Christmas, Ava

Oops. Me again. I forgot to thank you for the card. I’m not doing that this year. Too much to do around here with the both of us sort of sick.

It appears that you will have a white Christmas. I’m not sure about here — lots of snow now but we are supposed to have rain with temps in the forties before Christmas. Nice pictures.

We got a dusting last week, just little bits left on the north side of stuff. It’s very unusual to have snow in town before Jan or Feb, but the ski hills are loaded (up in the mountains.) Wonder, will this be an abnormal winter? I’m wearing my L.L. Bean stockings to beat the draft in the PC shop.
Love your dogs’ photos. Dogs I have known always liked snow,- pushing their faces into it and then tossing the snow up in the air.
Hugs from Asia,

How pretty snow LOOKS - especially with the dogs playing in it. I don’t think I would want to be in the middle of it, though. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas, and an even better New Year.

I hate to say it but I will anyway, I’m so glad I live in California. I do not miss snow at all after moving out of Maine.
